Heather Davis, Au.D., A/OGA
Doctor of Audiology & OGA Associate

Heather Davis, Au.D. is a Georgia native, born and raised in Macon, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Valdosta State University in 1998 and went on to receive her Master of Arts in Audiology at The University of Tennessee in 2000. In August 2008, she earned a clinical doctorate in audiology (Au.D.) from Salus University. Dr. Davis has been a practicing audiologist for 22 years. She is a licensed audiologist in the state of Georgia and is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

Dr. Davis' daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia in 2018. As a mother and clinician, she dove into the research and literature to find the best means to help her daughter with her learning differences. Dr. Davis was routinely frustrated by the lack of services for her daughter's challenges and often needed to be the provider of reading support. Along the journey, she has been truly inspired by children with learning differences and has taken numerous courses to expand her knowledge of reading support, handwriting and working memory.  As of August 3, 2023, Dr. Davis earned the Orton Gillingham Academy's associate level certification. She continues with her mentor, Beth Mares, F/OGA to earn the next level of OGA certification.

Dr. Davis lives in Peachtree Corners with her husband and daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, reading, travel and hanging out with their 3 dogs (Libby, Annabelle and Max).
